A foreigner may apply for a visa using an invitation.
The validity of the document is specified by inviting person, but can not be more than 1 year.
Documents required to obtain it:
- confirmation of the capital availability
- legal status of the residential properties
- copy of the identity document
- treasury fee
Who can be inviting person?
- citizens (and members of their families) of the following countries: Poland, Switzerland, a Member State of the European Union or the European Economic Area;
- a foreigner who resided legally and continuously in the territory of the Republic of Poland for at least 5 years before the issuance of the invitation;
- a foreigner holding a long-term EU residence permit or a permanent residence permit;
- legal entity or organization without a legal entity located in Poland.
How to get an invitation?
In order to receive an invitation for a foreigner, an employer or another authorized person should apply for inclusion of the future employee in the register of the invitations.
- The completed form including data on inviting person’s place of residence or the place of plant must be submitted to the appropriate governor of province (wojewoda).
- The application should include the period for which an employer or an individual plans to invite a foreigner to Poland.
- The fee for entering in the register of invitations is PLN 27.
